Hell yes!!
You can also pre-order The Last of Us 2 at some online retailers. :)
I doubt it will be fully exclusive, maybe timed? That's a possibility? Don't you think?
I believe they were one of the first studios to get their hands on the PlayStation 4.
Who knows... the tables have turned this generation, and maybe Sony decided to buy exclusive rights (perhaps even timed) to get back at Microsoft. I mean, Bungie releasing a PlayStation exclusive? That's surely a kick in the gonads.
Didn't really want to overshadow their previous release, The Last of Us. Wait until the dust settles from that release before prematurely announcing UC4.
They actually did that with TLoU. That was supposed to be revealed at E3, but they decided to wait until the VGAs. True story.
@SaveFaris
This topic is definitely on the conscience of a lot of people. Though many don't like to admit it, and even few discuss it, it is still a very serious issue.
It's taboo for the industry because it brings back that World War II feeling of racism and prejudice. America is still at war with Japan; only now it is commercial and financial.
Dem hits?
This is Forbes magazine we are talking about. They don't need to write gaming articles for hits... they are beyond that. :)
@AreTheMadness
"concur" means I agree. I think you misinterpreted Lovable's message. :)
Great find, Junkue Monkeys! Although, they were very firm when they announced they had no plans on releasing TLoU on PlayStation 4. Perhaps an error... who knows!
Let's just hope that the Wii U version of Watch_Dogs is on par with both current-gen copies. Wont settle for any less.
@Jimmy
Why would Richard specifically point out that the XO version was upscaled, yet make no mention of the PS4.
It does encourage people to believe that the PS4 is running at 1080p/60fps, especially when the linked article is about seeing the game run at 1080p.
Not really a rumor. Richard Leadbetter actually said that the 50% resolution boost over Xbox One's 720p gives the PlayStation 4 significant lead.
He specifically mentions that the XO version is upscaled -- no mention of the PS4 version being upscaled.
A definite indirect confirmation that PS4 is running 1080p native.
I am really torn on this topic. I would absolutely love to see how an Uncharted game would look on the PlayStation 4, but at the same time I was really blown away by TLoU. I am sure ND have something brilliant up their sleeves, nonetheless.
If they are only just now starting to research space makes me doubt that they will have anything to show for Spike TV's launch event.
Also, revealing Uncharted 4 would make a lot more sense. Erina's "contact" also seems somewhat reliable; he did say that their would be a big announcement from ND at a Spike TV event.
I've always considered the Wii U a next gen console. It is interesting to see how it actually fairs up to the competition.
Unfortunately we are not. The same reason why we are not apart of the EU is very reason why we don't have a PlayStation Store or Netflix here as well. Joining the EU would allow for much cheaper trading exposing the larger distributors to competition.
We have a trade agreement with the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland), but things are still pretty ridiculous here.
Nobody said it can't do it. It is just struggling to run at 1080p and pump out 60 frames per second.
It's like the roles have reversed this gen. Same was said about PS3 this generation. :)
1280 x 720! Sorry... wow... that sucked :)
John's statement about botched upload was retracted. Their findings still stand, Monkey.

Reminds me of this article... which people laughed at, actually.
